When adding a local phone number to your Talkroute account, you can search for available numbers by area code, zip code, or city and state. However, if you're looking for a specific vanity number—a number with a particular sequence of digits or a word spelled out in the number—our support team can help.
Note: Toll-free vanity numbers can be searched directly in the Talkroute control panel. The process below is for local vanity numbers only.
How to Request a Custom Local Number
Submit a request through our support form and select the custom number request option. Include the following information:
- The specific phone numbers you're looking for
- Keywords or patterns you'd like in the number
- Any acceptable variations or combinations
Our team will perform a manual search and let you know what's available.
Pricing
Custom local numbers requested through support have a one-time activation fee of $20, plus any applicable number add-on fees depending on your plan.
Numbers added through the control panel (including toll-free vanity numbers) have standard activation and add-on fees based on your plan.
