How to Add a Welcome Greeting to a Virtual Phone Number

Welcome Greetings are the messages your callers hear when they first connect to your virtual phone number. You can assign different greetings to each of your Talkroute phone numbers.

Adding a Welcome Greeting

1. Log in to the Talkroute control panel and navigate to the Manager section.

   

    

    

2. Under the Virtual Phone Numbers section, click Edit next to the phone number you wish to change.

   

    

    

3. Under Select Welcome Greeting audio file, click the upload icon (to the right of the play button) to add a new audio file.

   

    

    

4. A popup will appear where you can choose to Record an audio file by calling one of your forwarding phone numbers, or Upload an audio file from your device. For more details, see How to Add Audio Files.

   

    

    

5. Once your audio file is ready, select it from the Welcome Greeting audio file dropdown and click Save & Close.
