How to Change the Call Menu Audio Prompt (Press #1 for... Press #2 for...)

The Call Menu Audio file is what your callers will hear when reaching your call menu. This audio file should contain your menu options (e.g. "press one for sales, press two for support") and any other additional information you would like to provide. Callers can dial a single digit menu option or a multi-digit extension while this audio file is playing. The call menu audio will repeat (up to 2 additional times) if the caller does not make a selection before disconnecting the call. To add custom Call Menu Audio, please follow the steps below:

Changing Your Call Menu Audio

1. Login to your Talkroute account and navigate to the Manager section.

When testing these changes, you must dial your Talkroute Phone Number from a phone number that is NOT listed as a Forwarding Phone Number. If you attempt to call your Talkroute Phone Number from a Forwarding Phone Number, the call will disconnect or outbound dialing will be initiated (if enabled).
