How are maximum hold times calculated?

Hold times are calculated in real time based on the active forwarding phones. A forwarding phone is active if it is ON and within its scheduled hours (if applicable). 

Here are the examples of when your forwarding phone will be included in the total calculated hold time:

Scheduled Forwarding Active

  • If a forwarding phone is ON and outside of its defined schedule it does not get counted in the maximum hold time
  • If a forwarding phone is ON and inside of its defined schedule it does get counted in the maximum hold time

Scheduled Forwarding Inactive

  • If a forwarding phone is ON it does get counted in the maximum hold time

 

 

Note: There is a maximum allowed hold time of 10 minutes for ring in sequence and a maximum allowed hold time of 5 minutes for ring all.
