How to Ring Your Phones in Sequential Order

Sequential Ring Order allows you to ring your phones in a specific order and also specify how many times you wish to repeat the sequence. To setup Sequential Ring Order, please follow the steps below:  

 

Option #1:

 

 

Setup Sequential Ring Order for Talkroute Phone Numbers  

 

1) Login to your Talkroute account and navigate to the Manager section.

 

   

 

2) Select the desired Talkroute Phone Number and click "Edit".

 

   

 

3) Under "Forwarding Settings", select "Ring in Sequence".

 

   

 

4) You may drag and drop your forwarding numbers in the desired order that you want your phones to ring. For instructions on adding additional forwarding phone numbers, please visit the How to Add a Forwarding Phone Number tutorial.  

 

 

 

5) You may adjust how many seconds you want to ring your forwarding phone number before moving to the next number in the sequence.  

 

 

NOTE: Adjusting the timeout above 30 seconds may require that you increase the ring time to voicemail on the device.  

 

6) You may adjust how many times you wish to attempt the sequence.

 

 

 

NOTE: Adjusting the timeout settings and sequence attempts will provide you with the maximum allowed hold time for your callers.  

 

7) Once you have selected the desired changes, click "Save & Close".  

 

   

 

 

Option #2:

 

 

Setup Sequential Ring Order for Menu Options    

 

1) Login to your Talkroute account and navigate to the Manager section.  

 

 

 

2) Select the desired Menu Option and click “Edit”.

 

   

 

3) Under “Forwarding Settings”, select “Ring in Sequence”.  

 

 

 

4) You may drag and drop your forwarding numbers in the desired order that you want your phones to ring. For instructions on adding additional forwarding phone numbers, please visit the How to Add a Forwarding Phone Number tutorial.

 

   

 

5) You may adjust how many seconds you want to ring your forwarding phone number before moving to the next number in the sequence.

Note: When testing these changes, you must dial your Talkroute Phone Number from a phone number that is NOT listed as a Forwarding Phone Number. If you attempt to call your Talkroute Phone Number from a Forwarding Phone Number, the call will disconnect or outbound dialing will be initiated (if enabled).
