The Override Hours of Operation feature allows you to force your phone system to be open or closed outside of your normal defined operating hours. This is useful for holidays, unexpected closures, or staying open late.
Enabling an Override

Log in to the Talkroute control panel and navigate to the Manager section.

On the right-hand side of the Manager section, under Welcome, click Override Business Hours.

Select whether you would like your business to be forced Open or Closed, then click Enable Override.
Override Options
Force Open: Select Open to override your normal hours and keep your phone system open. Calls will be routed according to your normal open-hours settings.
Force Closed: Select Closed to override your normal hours and close your phone system. You can select a special announcement audio file and choose where to route calls (voicemail, menu, or disconnect).
Editing or Disabling an Override
You can edit your override settings at any time from the Manager page by clicking Edit Override.
To disable the override and return to your normal hours of operation, click Disable Override.
