How to Add Hours of Operation

Hours of Operation controls when your phone system is "open" or "closed." You can define specific time slots for each day of the week to match your business schedule.

 

Adding Hours of Operation


  1. Log in to the Talkroute desktop or web application and click the gear icon in the lower left corner to access Settings & Preferences.

  2. Select Hours of Operation from the navigation menu on the left.

  3. Click Add Time Slot to create a new schedule entry.

     

     

  4. Select the Day of Week from the dropdown. Options include common day ranges (Every Day, Monday to Friday, Weekends), individual days, or custom ranges. Then set a start time and end time for the selected days. Click Save Changes when finished.
     

     

     

Important: For hours that extend past midnight, create two time slots: one starting at your desired time and ending at 11:59 PM, and another starting at 12:00 AM and ending at your desired closing time.
Tip: You can add multiple time slots per day if your business opens and closes multiple times (for example, closed during lunch). Add as many time slots as needed to match your schedule.
