How to Add Hours of Operation


Hours of Operation controls when your phone system is "open" or "closed". To add Hours of Operation, please follow the steps below:

 

Adding Hours of Operation

1. Login to your Talkroute account and navigate to the Settings section.

 

2. Select the Hours of Operation tab.

3. Select the "Day of Week" drop-down and choose from one of the following range types:

Common day ranges (Every Day, Monday to Friday, Monday to Thursday, Saturday & Sunday)
All Day options (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, or Sunday)
Custom Range (Custom Day(s) of Week, e.g., Monday to Wednesday or Friday to Sunday)

Set a start time and end time. The start and end time will apply to all days within the chosen range. Once you have entered this information, click "Add".

Note: Having a start time a later time than your end time can cause issues with your hours. For hours that go past midnight, please create two time slots, one starting at your desired time and ending at 11:59 PM, the other one starting at 12:00 AM and ending at your desired time.

4. Your new Time Slot has now been added.

Note: You can add as many single day time slots as needed. You can even have multiple time slots on the same day if you need to open and close multiple times per day.

 

 

When testing these changes, you must dial your Talkroute Phone Number from a phone number that is NOT listed as a Forwarding Phone Number. If you attempt to call your Talkroute Phone Number from a Forwarding Phone Number, the call will disconnect or outbound dialing will be initiated (if enabled).
