How to Add Hours of Operation

Hours of Operation controls when your phone system is "open" or "closed". To add Hours of Operation, please follow the steps below:  

 

Option #1:

 

Adding Time Slots for Common Days.  

 

1) Login to your Talkroute account and navigate to the Settings section.  

 

 

2) Select the Hours of Operation tab.  

 

 

3) Select the "Days of Week" drop down and choose from one of the Common day ranges (Every Day, Monday to Friday, Monday to Thursday, Saturday & Sunday). Set the start and stop time. Note: The start and stop time will apply to all days within the chosen range. Once you have entered this information, click "Add".  

 

 

4) Your new Time Slot has now been added.

 

 

TIP: You can combine Common day time slots with Single and Custom ranges. The Common day option is a great way to avoid adding multiple Single day slots for days that share the same start and end time.    

 

Option #2:

 

Adding Time Slots for Single Days.  

 

1) Login to your Talkroute account and navigate to the Settings section.  

 

 

2) Select the Hours of Operation tab.  

 

 

3) Select the "Days of Week" drop down and choose from one of the every day options (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, or Sunday). Set the start and stop time. Once you have entered this information, click "Add".  

 

 

4) Your new Time Slot has now been added.  

 

TIP: You can add as many single day time slots as needed. You can even have multiple time slots on the same day if your need to open and close multiple times per day.    

 

Option #3:

 

Adding Time Slots for Custom Ranges.  

 

1) Login to your Talkroute account and navigate to the Settings section.  

 

 

2) Select the Hours of Operation tab.

   

 

3) Select the "Days of Week" drop down and choose "Custom Day(s) of Week". Select the start and end day. Set the start and stop time. Note: The start and stop time will apply to all days within the chosen range. Once you have entered this information, click "Add".  

 

 

4) Your new Time Slot has now been added.  

 

TIP: You can add as many single day time slots as needed. You can even have multiple time slots on the same day if your need to open and close multiple times per day.    

 

Note: When testing these changes, you must dial your Talkroute Phone Number from a phone number that is NOT listed as a Forwarding Phone Number. If you attempt to call your Talkroute Phone Number from a Forwarding Phone Number, the call will disconnect or outbound dialing will be initiated (if enabled).
