Time slots control when your phone system is "open" or "closed." You can add multiple time slots to the same day if your business closes and reopens during the day, such as for a lunch break.
How to Add Multiple Time Slots to the Same Day

Open the Talkroute desktop application or visit my.talkroute.com.

Click the gear icon in the lower left corner to access Settings & Preferences.

Navigate to Hours of Operation in the menu on the left.

Click Add Time Slot, select the day of the week, set your start and end times, then click Save.

Click Add Time Slot again, select the same day, and enter your second set of start and end times. Click Save.

Your phone system will now open and close multiple times on that day. Repeat as needed for additional time slots.
For hours that extend past midnight, create two separate time slots: one ending at 11:59 PM and another starting at 12:00 AM. For example, to provide coverage from 9:00 AM Saturday to 5:00 PM Sunday, create one slot for Saturday from 9:00 AM to 11:59 PM and a second slot for Sunday from 12:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Alternative Method (Control Panel)
You can also add multiple time slots through the Talkroute control panel at cp.talkroute.com:
- Log in and navigate to Settings.
- Select the Hours of Operation tab.
- Use the Days of Week dropdown to select a day, set your start and end times, then click Add.
- Select the same day again, enter your second time range, and click Add.
