What type of users can I add?

Talkroute allows you to add two types of users to your account: Account Users and Account Admins.

 

Account User

Account Users are designed to interact with the Talkroute system based on the permissions you assign them. They can access features like voicemail boxes, text messaging, call history, outbound dialing, call recordings, and the Talkroute desktop and mobile apps—but only for the resources you've granted them access to.

Account Users cannot view or change any account settings, call routing configurations, or billing information. They simply use the system within the boundaries you set.

 

Account Admin

Account Admins have full control over your Talkroute account. In addition to having the same feature access as standard users, admins can view and modify any setting under the account, including:

  • User permissions (including their own)
  • Call routing settings (phone numbers, menus, extensions, schedules)
  • Billing and subscription information
  • All other account configurations

Use Account Admin access for team members who need to manage or configure your phone system, and Account User access for team members who just need to make calls, send texts, and check voicemails.
