When I dial a number from the mobile app, why does my Talkroute number display on my phone's dialer?

When you place a call from the Talkroute mobile app, the app uses your phone's regular dialer to call an access number — this is your Talkroute number. The system then connects you to the number you dialed in the app. This process ensures that your Talkroute number displays as the outgoing caller ID to the person you're calling, rather than your personal cell phone number.

If you're not connecting to the number you dialed, or if you hear a message saying "enter the 10-digit number you wish to dial," a setting in the app may need to be corrected. See Mobile App Troubleshooting for more information.

Note: Placing calls from the mobile app requires voice and data service from your carrier.
