Can I port my number away from Talkroute?

Yes. You can port your number from Talkroute to another provider at any time by following your new provider's porting procedures.

We do not charge fees for processing port-out requests, with one exception: if your account is less than 90 days old and you request to port out a toll-free 800 number, a $50 processing fee per number applies. This fee is waived for accounts in good standing that are at least 90 days old.

Important: To ensure a smooth porting process, your account should remain active and in good standing until the transfer is complete. If your account is suspended or canceled before the port is finalized, the number may no longer be eligible for transfer.
Note: If you have additional numbers remaining on your account after the port, your account will remain active and you must submit a separate cancellation request if you wish to close it. However, if the number(s) you are porting are the last active numbers on your account, your account may be automatically canceled once the port is complete.
