Error: "That option is invalid, please try again"

If a caller tries to make a menu selection while not under a menu or if a menu option is selected that does not exist, they will hear an error message saying "That option is invalid, please try again".

If you or your callers are hearing this message when trying to make a selection while the call menu audio is playing, you may have the call menu audio selected in the wrong area. Please check to make sure that your call menu audio file is not selected under your welcome greeting for your virtual phone number. The Welcome greeting is for a quick intro greeting and the Call Menu audio is to explain your menu options. You will hear an error message when attempting to press a single-digit menu option during the Welcome Greeting, it will only work once the call is sent to the call menu.
