How to Ring All of Your Phones at Once

Ring All is a ring strategy that allows you to ring all of your selected phones at the same time and also specify the maximum hold duration for callers. To set up the Ring All configuration for your virtual phone numbers, call menu options, or extensions, please follow the steps below:

Ring All

1. Login to your Talkroute account and navigate to the Manager section.

2. Locate the Virtual Phone NumberCall Menu Optionor Extension that you would like to change the ring strategy for and select Edit.

3. Under "Forwarding Settings", select "Ring all". Talkroute will ring all of the phones in the list at the same time. For instructions on adding additional forwarding phone numbers, please visit the How to Add a Forwarding Phone Number tutorial.

Note: You can add up to 10 forwarding phone numbers in a Ring All configuration. If you need to add more than 10 forwarding phone numbers, please use the Ring in Sequence configuration instead.

4. You may adjust the maximum time you want your callers to wait on hold. This setting will let you choose how long callers are on hold before getting sent to a Talkroute Voicemail Box, Call Menu, or Disconnecting the call if it is not answered. While a caller is on hold, Talkroute will attempt to ring your listed phone numbers. Each ring attempt will be in 30-second increments up to the selected maximum hold time.

5. You may also adjust how often you would like incoming calls forwarded to your phones. This setting will let you choose how often you would like Talkroute to try each 30-second ring attempt to your forwarding phone numbers after the first attempt. This setting will only apply if the maximum hold time is set to 1 minute or higher.

6. Once you have selected the desired changes, click "Save & Close".

When testing these changes, you must dial your Talkroute Phone Number from a phone number that is NOT listed as a Forwarding Phone Number. If you attempt to call your Talkroute Phone Number from a Forwarding Phone Number, the call will disconnect or outbound dialing will be initiated (if enabled).
